RIPSTAR has launched a special colorway for the 2025 Chinese New Year, themed around the "Year of the Snake," drawing inspiration from one of China's four great folk legends, The Legend of the White Snake. This design incorporates the character of "Xiao Qing" from the story, starting with a teal base and transitioning to light green and water blue, with the addition of classic Chinese red as a striking accent, creating a vivid and bold visual theme.The shoe's exterior is crafted with teal suede, featuring embossed textures that subtly reveal a scale-like pattern, perfectly aligning with the design's concept and adding to its wearability. The layered construction includes light green leather on the upper, paired with a sky-blue heel, adding depth and dimension. The Chinese red long-tail star, as well as the red stitching on the shoe sole, pays homage to traditional Chinese culture. The incorporation of silver glitter on the sole adds a festive, luxurious touch to the sneaker.
